Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Officer to manage accounts receivable processes and support financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, effective credit management, and strong financial controls within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable processes and ensure timely collections
  • Prepare and analyze aged receivables reports to monitor outstanding balances
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting standards
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Monitor and enforce credit control procedures
  • Interpret and defend accounts receivable statements when required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls

Required Skills

  • Apply strong numerical and analytical skills in financial analysis
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial reporting principles
  • Show in-depth knowledge of accounts receivable and credit management
  • Prepare and interpret aged receivables analysis accurately
  • Utilize reconciliation techniques and manage customer accounts effectively
  • Understand accounts receivable processes, controls, and compliance requirements
  • Communicate financial insights clearly and confidently

Education

  • Hold an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Possess at least Level 2 certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG)

Work Experience

  • Demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience
