Role Overview:
The Senior Investment Advisor will build and maintain strong client relationships, provide investment solutions, and contribute to the overall growth of Standard Bank’s asset management and investment services.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on investment products, portfolio management, and financial planning strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and key stakeholders.
Identify client needs and provide tailored investment solutions.
Monitor financial markets, industry trends, and regulatory changes to inform investment advice.
Achieve sales and growth targets in line with the bank’s objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless investment services to clients.
Prepare investment reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and management.
Educational & Professional Requirements:
First Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
GSE Investment Adviser Certification is required.
Additional qualifications, certifications, or professional memberships are an advantage.
A second degree is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or advisory roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
Proven experience in relationship management.
Understanding of the asset or fund management environment.
Experience providing investment solutions to clients.
