Senior Manager – Consumer Marketing (Full-Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Manager – Consumer Marketing to lead the development and execution of consumer-focused marketing strategies. The successful candidate will drive customer acquisition, loyalty, and retention initiatives while delivering sustainable commercial growth in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute consumer marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and retention initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Apply agile principles and methodologies to improve marketing execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize strategies using data-driven insights.

Educational Requirements

  • University Degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
  • A Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial role within an FMCG or telecommunications organization.
  • Experience in a multinational environment is required.

Professional & Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of marketing concepts and consumer marketing.
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen.
  • Expertise in loyalty and retention management.
  • Strong project and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing and digital marketing practices.
  • Working knowledge of agile principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with MapInfo and Insightful Miner is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong business planning capabilities.
