Position Summary

New Crystal Hospital seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Officer to provide clinical leadership, deliver exceptional patient care, and support the professional development of medical teams. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to healthcare excellence across our Accra and Takoradi facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients in line with hospital protocols and best practices.

  • Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff.

  • Participate in medical rounds, case reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions.

  • Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.

  • Promote continuous professional development and adherence to clinical standards.

  • Collaborate with hospital management to improve patient care services.

  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training and participation in CPD programs.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • MB.ChB, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.

  • Permanent certification of registration with the Medical and Dental Council.

  • Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).

  • Strong clinical knowledge, decision-making skills, and patient care expertise.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work across multiple facilities and manage clinical responsibilities effectively.
