As part of our commitment to data-driven impact and accountability, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) Country Coordinator to lead MRV activities in Ghana.

Role Overview

The Senior MRV Country Coordinator – Ghana plays a critical role in ensuring accurate data collection, management, and reporting to support carbon projects and impact measurement initiatives. The role provides leadership at the country level, coordinates field teams, and ensures the integrity, timeliness, and quality of MRV data.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and passionate about using data to drive climate and development outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all MRV activities in Ghana

• Lead field data collection processes and ensure data accuracy and completeness

• Manage and supervise field teams, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight

• Ensure timely data submission, validation, and reporting in line with project requirements

• Analyze and manage datasets using Excel and other data tools

• Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

• Support audits, verifications, and quality assurance processes

• Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to improve MRV systems and workflows

• Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen data quality and operational efficiency.

  Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting

  • Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint or equivalent tools

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field data collection and data management

  • Proven team management or supervisory experience

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
