Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Reinsurance Broking Officer to manage and grow our reinsurance portfolio. You will structure reinsurance placements, negotiate terms with reinsurers, and provide technical advisory support to clients.

You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, ensuring optimal risk coverage solutions, and contributing to the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Manage reinsurance placements and coordinate negotiations with local and international reinsurers.

• Analyse client portfolios and design appropriate reinsurance structures.

• Prepare placement slips, underwriting submissions, and technical documentation.

• Provide advisory support on treaty and facultative reinsurance programmes.

• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and other stakeholders.

• Monitor renewals and ensure timely execution of contracts.

• Support business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Educational & Professional Requirements

You must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (required).

• Possess a Diploma in Insurance (required).

• Have 4–6 years of relevant experience in insurance, reinsurance, or broking.

• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of reinsurance principles and market practices.

• Exhibit strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Show professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
