Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Engineer to oversee construction activities in the Northern Sector. The successful candidate will manage on-site operations, supervise staff, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong management and client-relations skills to drive operational efficiency and project success.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
Utilize survey instruments to assess and monitor construction progress and site conditions.
Apply computer-aided design (CAD) software and project management tools such as MS Project and AutoCAD for planning, reporting, and project monitoring.
Manage teams, allocate resources effectively, and maintain site productivity.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Prepare regular progress reports, documentation, and site records.
Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges promptly.
Educational Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
Strong management, client-influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in using survey instruments and CAD software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
