Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in line with clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process clearly and professionally.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging.
- Capture, analyze, and document imaging results for review by physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, infection control, and imaging best practices.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Support continuous improvement in imaging services and patient care delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Degree, HND, or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ultrasound imaging procedures and clinical protocols.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work accurately, calmly, and professionally in a clinical environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality diagnostic output.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Professional ethics, confidentiality, and patient care focus.
