Position Summary

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management while contributing to operational excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Intern will:
- Support procurement and supply chain activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist in tracking and following up on Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Review procurement files to ensure completeness and adherence to documentation standards.
- Compile, analyze, and maintain procurement and supply chain data.
- Prepare routine reports and support timely submission of departmental reports.
- Assist with transaction tracking and reconciliation activities.
- Support the implementation and use of procurement systems, including COUPA.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to facilitate procurement processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Reduction in aged Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Improved completeness and accuracy of procurement documentation.
- Timely preparation and submission of required reports.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Recent graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
Required Experience & Skills
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data and track transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Good data analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
