Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations in the garment industry. The successful candidate will ensure timely sourcing of fabrics and materials, efficient production scheduling, and smooth delivery of uniforms and retail garments to clients and stores. This role reports directly to the General Manager and is critical in maintaining high-quality standards while controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies tailored to garment manufacturing and retail operations.
- Oversee procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories from local and international suppliers to meet production demands.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and retail stock to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation of raw materials to the factory and finished products to clients and retail outlets.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and retail teams to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
- Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain and procurement team to maintain high performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, ideally within the garment, textile, or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, inventory management, and procurement strategies specific to garments and textiles.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing and retail environment.
