Job Summary

The Survey Assistant will support the surveying and mapping activities required for efficient mine planning and operations. The role involves collecting accurate data, assisting in field surveys, and contributing to the maintenance of survey records under the guidance of senior surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in field surveys, measurements, and mapping activities for mining operations.

• Collect, record, and verify survey data with precision and accuracy.

• Support senior surveyors in preparing survey reports and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols during fieldwork.

• Maintain and organize survey instruments and equipment for efficient field operations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate survey outputs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Surveying, Geomagnetic, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.

• Ability to work safely in field conditions and adapt to outdoor environments.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Prior experience in mining or field surveying is an advantage.
