Job Purpose

The Teller handles cash and transaction-related activities accurately and efficiently while delivering professional and courteous service. The role supports smooth financial operations and upholds the company’s standards of accountability and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately

• Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions

• Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation

• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to internal and external customers

• Follow established financial controls, procedures, and security standards

• Resolve basic customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary

• Support the finance team with administrative and transaction-related tasks

Educational & Professional Requirements

• HND qualification in a relevant field

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience

• Basic mathematical and computer skills

• Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills

• High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy

• Professional appearance and courteous manner

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Ability to work under minimal supervision

• High integrity and confidentiality

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
