Job Summary

The Ticketing Manager actively oversees and manages all ticketing operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service. The role leads ticketing staff, enforces airline and industry standards, and ensures seamless ticket issuance, re-issuance, and refunds. The successful candidate plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency while creating a welcoming and customer-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

The Ticketing Manager will:

  • Manage and supervise daily ticketing operations within the travel unit

  • Ensure accurate ticket issuance, re-issuance, refunds, and exchanges in line with airline rules and fare regulations

  • Interpret and apply fare construction principles, airline policies, and industry standards

  • Lead, train, and support ticketing officers to maintain high performance and service quality

  • Resolve complex ticketing issues and customer complaints efficiently

  • Monitor productivity, accuracy, and compliance across ticketing activities

  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines and service partners

  • Prepare operational reports and support management decision-making

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and customer service standards


Educational Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ proven experience as a Ticketing Manager or Ticketing Officer in a travel agency

  • Strong understanding of fare construction, airline rules, and ticketing standards

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in relevant ticketing systems and reservation platforms
