Job Purpose
Auntie Nkran Partners is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Transport / Logistics Officer to support the efficient management, maintenance, and availability of our commercial vehicle fleet. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving fleet performance, and supporting safe, cost-effective transport operations across all stations.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain company trucks and fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance
Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and coordinate effective repairs
Oversee routine preventive maintenance schedules for fleet assets
Monitor vehicle condition, usage, and mechanical compliance
Support transport and logistics operations to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
Work closely with drivers to improve vehicle handling, fault reporting, and maintenance awareness
Support operations across multiple stations when required
Contribute to cost-control initiatives by reducing downtime and unnecessary repair expenses
Educational & Professional Requirements
HND, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or a related field
Hands-on mechanical experience with trucks and fleet vehicles (mandatory)
Proven experience working with trucks, flatbeds, bucket beds, and commercial fleets
Experience in transport or fleet operations is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Solid understanding of transport and logistics operations
Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Cost-conscious mindset with focus on minimizing downtime
Flexibility and willingness to work across stations and support multiple teams
