Role Overview

The TV Show Producer / Director actively leads the creative and technical production of television programs covering parliamentary activities and civic-focused content. This role suits experienced professionals with strong storytelling abilities, leadership skills, and hands-on expertise in television production and direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, produce, and direct television programs and shows for parliamentary broadcasts

• Lead production teams, including camera operators, editors, presenters, and production assistants

• Plan and manage all stages of production, from pre-production to post-production

• Ensure programs meet editorial, technical, and broadcast quality standards

• Coordinate studio and field productions, including live and recorded shows

• Develop production schedules, scripts, and storyboards

• Collaborate with editorial and communication teams to align content with parliamentary objectives

• Manage production resources efficiently while meeting deadlines

• Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and institutional broadcasting standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• First Degree in Film, Television Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field

• Minimum of four (4) years’ post-qualification experience

• Master’s Degree in a relevant subject area with professional experience as a TV Producer or Director

• Strong leadership, creative direction, and production management skills

• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple productions simultaneously
