VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Video Editor (Two Positions)                                                                                                        ORGANISATION: Parliamentary Service of Ghana
LOCATION: Accra
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

The Parliamentary Service of Ghana invites applications from creative, skilled, and detail-oriented professionals to fill two (2) vacant positions of Video Editor. This role provides an opportunity to support parliamentary transparency and public engagement through high-quality visual storytelling.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Video Editor will:

  • Edit video content covering parliamentary proceedings, committee meetings, and official events

  • Assemble raw footage into clear, engaging, and accurate visual narratives

  • Apply graphics, sound, subtitles, and visual effects in line with editorial standards

  • Collaborate with reporters, producers, and communications teams to deliver timely content

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in all video productions

  • Manage and archive video footage in accordance with established procedures

  • Adhere to ethical, technical, and confidentiality standards


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Diploma in Film Editing, Media Production, or a related field from a recognized institution

  • Demonstrate proven visual storytelling and video editing skills

  • Show proficiency in relevant video editing software

  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Have prior experience in broadcast or digital media, which will be an advantage
