Position Summary

The Videographer Intern will support the creation of engaging visual content for marketing, branding, and digital communication initiatives. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in video production while working with experienced professionals in a dynamic and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, filming, and producing high-quality video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Capture video footage of products, events, company activities, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Edit video content using professional editing software to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
  • Add graphics, subtitles, music, transitions, and other visual effects where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling visual storytelling concepts.
  • Organize, label, and maintain video files and digital media assets.
  • Ensure video content aligns with the company’s brand identity and communication standards.
  • Assist with setting up and operating cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production tools.
  • Stay informed about current video production trends and recommend creative ideas for future content.
  • Perform other creative and production-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Film Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of videography, camera operation, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar applications.
  • Creative storytelling ability with a strong eye for composition and visual detail.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve.
  • A portfolio or samples of previous video projects are an added advantage.
