Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional, friendly, and efficient table service to guests in line with The Ceiba Restaurant’s service standards.
Greet guests warmly, present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when required.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery in coordination with kitchen and bar teams.
Maintain high standards of service etiquette, table setup, and presentation throughout the dining experience.
Ensure strict compliance with the restaurant’s hygiene, safety, and service protocols at all times.
Monitor guest satisfaction during service, address basic concerns promptly, and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
Handle bills, POS transactions, and payments accurately and responsibly.
Prepare dining areas before service and ensure tables are cleared, reset, and maintained efficiently during operations.
Support banquets, conferences, and special events with professional and attentive service.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, bartenders, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
Certificate or training in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or Customer Service is an advantage.
Minimum 1–3 years of service experience, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to service excellence.
Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service procedures.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical service tasks.
