Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient table service to guests in line with The Ceiba Restaurant’s service standards.

  • Greet guests warmly, present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when required.

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery in coordination with kitchen and bar teams.

  • Maintain high standards of service etiquette, table setup, and presentation throughout the dining experience.

  • Ensure strict compliance with the restaurant’s hygiene, safety, and service protocols at all times.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction during service, address basic concerns promptly, and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.

  • Handle bills, POS transactions, and payments accurately and responsibly.

  • Prepare dining areas before service and ensure tables are cleared, reset, and maintained efficiently during operations.

  • Support banquets, conferences, and special events with professional and attentive service.

  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, bartenders, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


Requirements

  • Certificate or training in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or Customer Service is an advantage.

  • Minimum 1–3 years of service experience, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to service excellence.

  • Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service procedures.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical service tasks.
