Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to support our manufacturing and fabrication operations. The successful candidate will perform welding and metal fabrication tasks to support production quality, equipment maintenance, and structural integrity within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
• Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components according to production specifications.
• Inspect welded structures and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper functionality at all times.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support maintenance and production teams with fabrication and repair work.
• Identify defects in materials or workmanship and take corrective action where necessary.
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and consistency in all welding operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• WASSCE/HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in welding or metal fabrication within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven ability to work with welding equipment and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Technical certification in welding will be an added advantage.
