About the Company:
We are a reputable organization operating with high standards of financial governance, compliance, and accountability. We are seeking a highly competent Responsible Officer (Chartered Accountant) to oversee financial, audit, and compliance functions while ensuring adherence to regulatory and professional standards.

Role Overview:
The Responsible Officer will provide leadership in financial management, audit oversight, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical capability, and experience with government audits and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial reporting, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.

  • Manage and review accounting records to ensure accuracy and integrity.

  • Lead audit engagements and liaise with regulators and external auditors.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and professional accounting standards.

  • Utilize P-CAS software effectively for audit and financial reporting.

  • Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

  • Support internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.

  • Supervise and mentor finance and audit staff as required.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAG, ACCA, or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in audit, finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in government audits.

  • Mandatory proficiency in P-CAS software.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting abilities.

Additional Consideration:

  • Part-Qualified (ICAG/ACCA) candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
