Key Responsibilities
The Finance & Accounting Lead / Manager will:

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and Ghana statutory requirements.

Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and other statutory obligations.

Monitor and manage financial transactions, budgets, and reporting processes across organizational verticals.

Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
-
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial best practices are applied in projects and operations.
-
Engage directly with clients, regulators, and stakeholders on financial matters as required.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ghana’s regulatory environment and incorporate changes into company processes.

Support internal and external audit activities, including documentation and responses to queries.

Independently execute accounting and finance initiatives, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Educational & Professional Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
-
Professional accounting qualification or progress toward qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

6–10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, consulting, banking, or corporate finance environments.
-
Hands-on experience with Ghana tax, VAT, and statutory compliance.
-
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.

Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Ability to operate independently with sound judgment and execution discipline.

Comfortable engaging in client-facing and leadership-level discussions.
