Account Officer (Full-Time)
Location: Accra

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our finance team and contribute to the effective financial management of the Centre.
Position Summary
The Account Officer will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization’s financial planning and reporting processes. The successful candidate will maintain accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in all financial transactions while supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities.
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Support audit processes by providing required documentation.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Requirement:
Minimum of a First Degree in Accounting or related field (Accounting option required).
Professional Experience:
At least two (2) years of relevant accounting experience.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA, CIMA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
