Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Section Operator I to join our team in Tarkwa. The successful candidate will actively participate in plant operations, ensure safe handling of reagents, and contribute to achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage assigned sections of the plant efficiently and safely.

  • Prepare and safely transfer reagents according to standard operating procedures.

  • Support the CIL process plant reagent preparation activities.

  • Monitor operations, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions quickly and flexibly.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

  • Take initiative and manage tasks to completion while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Operate light vehicles safely; assist with mobile equipment if certified.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of Senior High School Certificate (SHS).

  • Experience: At least two (2) years in a similar role.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Basic knowledge of external reagent standard operating procedures.

    • Understanding of CIL process plant reagent preparation and safe transfer.

    • Well-developed oral and written communication skills in English.

    • Ability to plan, react, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

    • Hands-on approach with a commitment to achieving results.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid Ghanaian driver’s license and proficiency in driving light vehicles.

    • Mobile equipment license and mine permit are an added advantage.

    • Medical fitness for the role and work environment.
