Job Purpose

The Agency Sales Manager leads, manages, and develops the agency sales force across assigned regions to drive life insurance sales, increase market penetration, and ensure the achievement of business targets. The role focuses on coaching agents, expanding client networks, and maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of insurance agents across multiple regions to achieve sales targets.

  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing agency teams.

  • Drive market expansion and identify new business opportunities nationwide.

  • Monitor agent performance, provide coaching, and implement development plans.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase client acquisition and retention.

  • Ensure compliance with life insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.

  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and promotional activities.


Educational Requirements & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 3–15 years of experience in a life insurance company, with proven sales and leadership achievements.

  • Diploma or professional certification in insurance is an added advantage.

  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, sales strategies, and regulatory compliance.
