Job Description

A reputable, fast-growing rural bank in the Ashanti region, committed to providing innovative financial services that support rural and community development, is seeking highly skilled, proactive, and dynamic individuals to fill the position as Branch Manager.

Reports To: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to branch staff to achieve business and financial targets Develop and implement strategies to grow deposits, loans and other banking products. Ensure effective credit management, loan recovery and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, community leaders and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls and policies. Promote excellent customer service delivery and uphold the bank’s image and values.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of a first degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (3) years of banking experience, at least two (2) of which should be at a supervisory or middle-level managerial level, preferably in a rural/community bank.
  • Proven track record in credit management, deposit mobilisation and branch operations.
  • Good knowledge of T24 or similar core banking software.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
