Role Overview
Process & Plant Automation Ltd seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Partner to support efficient sourcing, supplier management, and logistics coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization, and compliance with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Review and analyze departmental requisitions and determine appropriate sourcing strategies (local and international)
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation through to completion
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual terms, reporting any non-conformances
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and quality service delivery
- Maintain and update the supplier database in line with company standards
Order & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate order acknowledgements and maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Track orders and provide regular updates on delivery status, shortages, and backlogs
- Coordinate logistics and identify cost-effective delivery methods
- Facilitate inspection, testing, and handover of procured items to relevant stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and clarify procurement requirements
- Support procurement initiatives and prepare analytical reports to inform decision-making
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and internal procedures
Compliance & Safety (OHSE)
- Adhere to all Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies and procedures
- Identify and report hazards and participate in risk assessments
- Ensure safe use of tools and equipment in line with company standards
Additional Responsibilities
- Support supplier audits and document findings, including non-conformance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic numerical and analytical capability
