Principal Responsibilities

1. Technical Advisory

• Provide expert advice on technical matters relating to the design, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems used in production.
• Support continuous improvement in machinery performance and operational efficiency.

2. Production Planning

• Plan production schedules in collaboration with the Factory Manager to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Align production and maintenance activities to ensure seamless operations.

3. Operations Execution & Supervision

• Coordinate and direct production, maintenance activities, and job changeovers.
• Monitor production schedules, maintenance work, and rejection control, ensuring proper documentation.
• Oversee mold loading and unloading activities and maintain accurate records.
• Interpret technical, electrical, and mechanical drawings to guide operations effectively.
• Ensure adherence to machinery start-up and shutdown procedures as well as process control standards.

4. Maintenance Coordination

• Review spare parts requirements and prepare submissions for approval.
• Evaluate maintenance schedules and coordinate implementation across the factory.
• Conduct regular audits of maintenance and repair procedures to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Review reports from production supervisors and prepare periodic reports on maintenance, repairs, and production performance.
• Maintain accurate production and service records for performance tracking and decision-making.

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, guide, and support team members to achieve operational goals.
• Identify training needs and organize or recommend relevant training programs.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and a high-performance culture.

7. Additional Duties

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Factory Manager.

Education & Qualifications

• B.Sc. with PGDPPT or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong experience in injection molding and PET material processing for thin wall containers.
• Proven expertise in machine operations, troubleshooting, and handling customer complaints.
• Solid understanding of compression molding, injection molding, and machine maintenance processes.
