We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute City Head – Addme Groundnut Paste to lead sales growth and market expansion across Accra. The successful candidate will drive distribution, strengthen retail presence, and build strong customer relationships while increasing product penetration and consumer loyalty.

CORE DELIVERABLES
- Lead sales and distribution of Addme Groundnut Paste across Accra and surrounding suburbs.
- Ensure strong market penetration across general trade channels (kiosks, corner shops, open markets, and provision stores) as well as modern trade outlets.
- Develop and execute city-level strategies to drive product trial, repeat purchases, and brand loyalty.
- Manage distributor relationships and expand retail coverage across key markets in Accra.
- Supervise and coach sales representatives and merchandisers to maximize product visibility and availability.
- Monitor competitor activity within the peanut/groundnut spread category and provide actionable market insights.
- Drive on-ground consumer engagement activities, including sampling, tasting, and awareness campaigns.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and share regular sales reports and insights on consumer behavior and market trends.
- Ensure efficient stock management at both distributor and retail levels to prevent stock outs or expiries.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and brand campaigns.
- Identify and develop opportunities within food service and institutional channels to expand consumption occasions.
- Address customer feedback and complaints while providing trade support to strengthen customer loyalty.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in FMCG sales and distribution (experience in spreads, staples, or packaged foods is an advantage).
- Strong experience managing traditional/general trade channels.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage extensive retail coverage and distribution networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Must reside in or have strong familiarity with Accra and its trade landscape.
