Position Overview
We are seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and experienced Bus Driver to join our transport team on a full-time basis. You will actively ensure the safe, timely, and comfortable transportation of students and staff while maintaining high standards of road safety and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport students and staff according to assigned routes and schedules
- Maintain strict adherence to road safety regulations and school transport policies
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure the bus remains clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition
- Support a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all passengers
- Communicate effectively with transport coordinators and school administration
- Respond professionally to route changes or operational needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (minimum Class C)
- Minimum of 5 years professional driving experience within an organization
- At least 3 years’ experience driving a Class C-sized vehicle or larger
- Strong understanding of road safety rules and defensive driving techniques
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and responsible under pressure
- High level of punctuality and reliability
