Position Overview

MTN Ghana seeks a highly analytical and strategic Manager, ESG Impact Reporting to drive the implementation of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) impact analysis and reporting strategy. The successful candidate will lead ESG data management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring transparency, compliance, and measurable sustainability impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of MTN’s ESG Impact Analysis and Reporting strategy
• Analyze the social, environmental, and economic impacts of business activities on key stakeholders
• Collect, manage, and analyze ESG data, including carbon emissions, labor practices, diversity, and community initiatives
• Maintain high-quality ESG datasets for ongoing analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure accurate measurement and reporting of ESG initiatives across operations, products, and services
• Mitigate greenwashing risks by upholding integrity and transparency in reporting
• Develop ESG dashboards and reporting systems for management, Board, and MTN Group
• Contribute to ESG reports, publications, and sustainability disclosures
• Conduct ESG gap assessments and support performance improvement initiatives
• Monitor ESG KPIs and coordinate assurance processes with internal stakeholders
• Track ESG-linked performance metrics tied to incentives
• Respond to ESG-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Manage ESG knowledge systems, databases, and reporting tools
• Deliver ESG training programs to staff, management, and partners
• Support stakeholder engagement to align ESG reporting with strategic objectives

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related business field
• Certifications in Google Analytics and SQL are an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Access

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics and reporting
• At least 3 years in sustainability and social impact reporting in a supervisory role

Professional/Technical Competencies

• Strong expertise in ESG impact analysis and reporting
• Advanced data mining, analytics, and visualization skills
• Knowledge of business performance management, planning, and budgeting
• Ability to analyze KPIs and produce detailed insights
• Strong understanding of reporting frameworks and project management principles
