Job Summary

MTN Ghana seeks an experienced and analytical Manager, Network Performance Reporting and Analytics to lead network business intelligence, reporting systems, and performance analytics. The successful candidate will actively drive data-driven insights, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making across the network operations ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Analytics

  • Lead network business intelligence (BI) delivery in collaboration with commercial BI teams.
  • Drive and support Group-led reporting requirements and standards.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of network performance reports in required formats.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc Quality of Service (QoS) reports to the NCA.
  • Analyze network performance reports and provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
  • Develop and implement automated systems for network KPI monitoring and reporting.

Customer Experience & Stakeholder Management

  • Conduct bi-annual prioritization of network sites for customer experience optimization.
  • Serve as liaison between Network Group and Marketing, Customer Care, Sales, and Corporate Services.
  • Address network-related complaints and support cross-functional resolution of issues.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Align internal KPI definitions and reporting with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the organization on technical committees and industry engagements.
  • Collaborate with regulators and industry stakeholders on network reporting methodologies.
  • Support regulator-led projects, audits, and incident reporting requirements.

Network Performance & Management

  • Oversee war room management initiatives across national and regional operations.
  • Align network performance KPIs with organizational strategy and standards.
  • Support the implementation and refinement of network performance tools and analytics platforms.
  • Coordinate data management initiatives across network operations teams.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Track and report on network technology strategy implementation.
  • Maintain and update group reporting tools and shared data repositories.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Statistics.
  • A blend of Engineering and Statistics is an advantage.
  • Power BI certification is mandatory.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in network reporting, analytics, or telecommunications data roles.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a related function.

  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI required).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
