Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Lead to oversee the delivery of enterprise and sustainability projects. The successful candidate will manage project scope, resources, budgets, and risks, ensuring timely and high-quality execution in alignment with MTN’s strategic goals. This role demands strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate complex business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of business initiatives with impact-driven execution
- Track project budgets, CAPEX commitments, forecasts, change requests, and budget reports in line with CAPEX management frameworks
- Facilitate project planning and implementation sessions, document minutes and action items for tracking
- Prepare and deliver project documentation in accordance with Capital Project Management Framework (e.g., CAPEX Investment Requests, Project Plans, Progress Reports)
- Record and apply lessons learned from previous projects to enhance delivery
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to schedule and track project timelines and milestones
- Estimate resources required to achieve project objectives and track project risks and dependencies
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and secure approvals from stakeholders
- Assign and oversee task execution across vendors and functional teams
- Support resolution of project issues and escalate critical matters to the Project Manager
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and business teams
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and develop contingency plans for potential challenges
- Ensure effective collaboration among project team members to optimize project delivery
- Maintain and update project documentation, including design documents, sign-offs, closure documents, and project performance plans
- Communicate project expectations, status updates, and performance reports to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
- Provide administrative support to project functions as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
- Project Management certification advantageous (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner, Agile PM)
- Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in project delivery or business initiatives
- Experience in fast-paced business environments with transformation delivery projects
- Proven experience working in agile teams and managing stakeholders effectively
- Strong problem-solving, reporting, and performance management skills
- Experience collaborating in diverse teams and across multiple functions
