Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and impact-driven Manager, ESG Impact Reporting to lead the measurement, analysis, and reporting of MTN Ghana’s ESG performance. The successful candidate will ensure accurate ESG data management, deliver high-quality sustainability insights, and support strategic decision-making across the organization and stakeholder ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of MTN Ghana’s ESG Impact Analysis and Reporting strategy.
- Analyze the impact of business activities on employees, customers, communities, and the environment.
- Collect, validate, and analyze ESG data, including carbon emissions, supply chain practices, diversity metrics, and community engagement.
- Maintain high-quality ESG datasets to support reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of ESG impacts across operations, products, and services.
- Strengthen data integrity and actively mitigate greenwashing risks.
- Develop ESG dashboards and reporting tools for management, board members, MTN Group, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and performance publications aligned with MTN Group standards.
- Monitor ESG performance indicators and coordinate assurance processes with relevant internal teams.
- Track ESG-linked performance metrics tied to incentive structures.
- Respond to ESG-related queries from MTN Group and local stakeholders in alignment with sustainability strategy.
- Manage ESG data systems, knowledge platforms, and reporting databases in line with group requirements.
- Design and implement ESG training programs for employees, management, and suppliers.
- Support stakeholder engagement to align ESG reporting, goal setting, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Certification in Google Analytics and SQL is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Access.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics and reporting.
- At least 3 years of experience in Sustainability and Social Impact reporting in a supervisory role.
Professional & Technical Competencies
- Strong expertise in ESG impact measurement and reporting.
- Advanced data analytics, data mining, and research capabilities.
- Strong understanding of business performance management and KPI analysis.
- Experience in planning, budgeting, and project reporting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
