Role Overview
The Senior Sales Consultant will actively drive revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. The role requires a proactive, consultative sales approach and a strong commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and deliver compelling product/service demonstrations.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and pricing structures to clients.
- Address client concerns effectively, negotiate terms, and successfully close deals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide ongoing client support to ensure satisfaction and encourage long-term partnerships.
- Continuously enhance sales expertise, product knowledge, and professional development through training and self-learning.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within a consultative selling environment.
- Strong ability to build rapport, trust, and long-term client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales tools for pipeline and client management.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
