The Role

The Commercial Operations Manager drives the company’s revenue growth by leading and aligning marketing and sales strategies. This role oversees commercial activities, strengthens market positioning, and ensures operational excellence across sales and marketing functions.

The successful candidate builds a high-performing team, identifies growth opportunities, and executes strategies that enhance customer engagement and business performance.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing Management

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Analyze customer needs and competitor activities to expand market share
  • Lead the development of branding initiatives, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns
  • Plan, budget, coordinate, and evaluate promotional activities to ensure effectiveness
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure marketing performance against targets

Sales Management

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Set individual sales goals, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, tenders, presentations, and reports
  • Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, lead generation, client engagement, product presentations, and deal closure
  • Coach and develop the sales team through training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities and emerging customer segments

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in a similar role
