The Role
The Finance Account Assistant supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient day-to-day accounting operations. This role focuses on accounts receivable, financial data management, and supporting reporting processes.
The successful candidate brings attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients where necessary
- Support data entry and ensure accuracy in accounting systems
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience & Skills
- Relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
