Position Summary
AO Holdings is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Technical Operations to lead and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and technical service delivery functions. The successful candidate will ensure high system availability, operational efficiency, cybersecurity compliance, and continuous service improvement while leading a high-performing technical team.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure and technical operations environment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, including deployment, optimization, scalability, and security management.
- Oversee server administration, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain business continuity strategies, including backup systems, disaster recovery plans, and redundancy frameworks.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, patch management, and technology refresh initiatives.
Operations & Service Delivery
- Ensure reliable technical support services are delivered in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and implement operational procedures, workflows, and technical standards to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Oversee incident management processes and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user satisfaction.
- Define and track operational KPIs and performance metrics for infrastructure and support teams.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical operations teams to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth.
- Assign responsibilities, manage workloads, and ensure effective coordination across infrastructure and support functions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Identify training needs and support technical capacity development across the team.
Information Security & Compliance
- Ensure all infrastructure systems comply with cybersecurity policies, standards, and industry best practices.
- Support vulnerability assessments, access control management, and security monitoring initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage security incidents and mitigate operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and global IT standards.
Project & Vendor Management
- Lead end-to-end technical projects from planning through execution and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements aligned with business goals.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and operational updates for senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technical operations management.
- Proven experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments and enterprise-scale infrastructure systems.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, backup systems, and enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong background in project management and vendor coordination.
