Role Overview
As an IT/Booking Support Officer, you will provide technical support to users, assist with the management of booking systems, and ensure the smooth operation of daily administrative and technology-related activities. You will play a key role in supporting business operations through efficient problem-solving, system coordination, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Provide first-level IT support to staff and users by resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of booking and reservation systems.
- Monitor booking activities and ensure accurate processing of reservations and customer information.
- Troubleshoot system issues and escalate complex technical challenges when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, system updates, and support requests.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer equipment and software applications.
- Assist users with system access, account management, and technical guidance.
- Generate reports related to bookings, system performance, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant work experience in IT support, booking administration, customer support, or a related role.
- Good understanding of computer systems, software applications, and IT support processes.
- Experience working with booking, reservation, or management systems will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
