We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR People Operations Officer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of efficient HR operations, support employee engagement initiatives, and help shape an exceptional workplace culture.

Role Overview

As the HR People Operations Officer, you will play a critical role in managing key employee lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements, and driving operational excellence across the Human Resources function. You will collaborate with leaders and employees across the organization to deliver effective HR solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is current, secure, and compliant.
  • Support payroll administration and employee benefits processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Support performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate disciplinary, grievance, and employee relations processes in accordance with labour regulations and organizational policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency within the HR function.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of Human Resources experience, with significant exposure to HR Operations or People Operations.
  • A professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or an equivalent qualification (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Sound understanding of HR policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
