Role Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee maintenance and operational efficiency within the production plant. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a proactive approach to ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in production performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and timely maintenance and repair of production equipment within the assigned area.
  • Lead and supervise technical supervisors and line technicians to achieve operational targets.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct training programs to enhance the skills, competence, and efficiency of technical staff.
  • Enforce adherence to factory rules, safety standards, and hygienic practices.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate procurement of required components.
  • Oversee and maintain the analytical competence of technicians to meet operational requirements.
  • Manage training plans and support the professional development of the technical team.
  • Proactively promote a strong safety culture across all production activities.
  • Support the implementation of Nestlé Quality Management System (NQMS) and Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in maintenance leadership or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of production equipment and industrial systems.
  • Strong awareness of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles.
  • Experience in vendor management and spare parts planning.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
