Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and community-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential operational support for CIHR programs. The successful candidate will ensure smooth coordination of logistics, maintain accurate records, and serve as a key point of contact for community engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for community health drives and resilience workshops, including procurement and distribution of essential supplies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of community outreach activities and beneficiary data
- Organize, file, and manage program documentation to ensure easy retrieval and accuracy
- Serve as the first point of contact for community members, partners, and stakeholders, responding to inquiries professionally
- Support petty cash management and assist with basic financial tracking and reporting
- Assist in the smooth execution of field activities and program operations
- Ensure timely communication between field teams and program coordinators
- Promote efficient administrative processes that support community program delivery
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or any related field
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in community-based environments
- Basic knowledge of financial tracking or petty cash management will be an advantage
- Willingness to work across assigned locations: Kasoa, Prampram, Ada, and Kumasi
