Job Summary

MD Construction Ghana is seeking a skilled and proactive Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. The successful candidate will manage site operations, ensure technical compliance, and coordinate project activities while contributing to a supportive and team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction site operations and ensure project timelines are met
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate implementation on site
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and project stakeholders
• Monitor construction progress and enforce quality control standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering specifications
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation
• Support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related challenges promptly
• Contribute to effective communication between site teams and management

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5–10 years’ relevant experience in construction and project management
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery

Added Advantage (Desirable Skills)

• Creative skills in content creation (photography, videography, graphic design, or writing)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or membership with a recognized engineering body
• Experience managing company social media accounts or brand communication
