Job Summary

MD Construction Ghana is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design and deliver innovative building solutions. The successful candidate will create functional, aesthetically appealing, and compliant designs while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring projects from concept to completion. You will contribute to a welcoming design environment that values innovation, precision, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings for projects
• Prepare, present, and refine design proposals for residential and commercial developments
• Produce accurate construction drawings and documentation using industry standards
• Collaborate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers throughout project delivery
• Ensure all designs comply with building regulations, codes, and client requirements
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design implementation accuracy
• Integrate sustainable and cost-effective design solutions where applicable
• Support project planning, coordination, and design review meetings

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ relevant experience in architectural design
• Proven experience working on residential and/or commercial projects

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or ArchiCAD
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
• Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills
• Strong communication and project management abilities
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or membership with a recognized architectural body
• Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices
