Role Overview
The Customer Support Representative serves as the key link between customers and the organization, ensuring seamless service delivery, strong client relationships, and business growth. The role combines technical support, sales development, and customer relationship management to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise customers on service and product options that reduce operating costs and improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams across service and parts functions.
- Coordinate with service and parts departments to deliver exceptional customer support.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Provide customer training on equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
- Promote and sell maintenance contracts and after-sales solutions.
- Prepare and deliver accurate parts and service quotations.
- Coordinate service repairs and parts deliveries to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor competitor activities and maintain updated profiles of key market players.
- Track and report lost sales opportunities in parts and services.
- Achieve targets related to sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of machine population within the assigned territory.
- Manage customer accounts using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries during and beyond standard business hours when required.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Higher education qualification in Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in parts sales and customer support.
- Experience within the automotive or equipment industry is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Good technical understanding of equipment, parts, and maintenance services.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- High level of responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism.
Work Environment
- Field-based role with regular interaction with customers.
- Flexibility to respond to customer needs outside normal working hours when required.
