Role Overview

The Human Resource Coordinator will support the effective delivery of HR operations within a dynamic mining environment. You will coordinate key HR processes, ensure compliance with labour regulations, and support the full employee lifecycle while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, and employee exits
  • Support performance management processes, including evaluations and documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
  • Assist in payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Ensure compliance with Ghana labour laws, particularly occupational health and employee welfare regulations
  • Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Liaise with employees and management to address HR-related inquiries
  • Support training and development coordination activities
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and people-focused work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of a BSc in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences/Arts, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within mining or explosives operations
  • Professional HR certification or training in HR/benefits administration is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of HR management principles and employee lifecycle processes
  • Knowledge of Ghana labour laws, particularly occupational health and employee welfare
  • Proficiency in HR and payroll systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic abilities
