Position Overview

Form Ghana seeks a skilled and motivated Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of harvesting equipment, tractors, loaders, and fleet vehicles. The successful candidate will work in a structured and safety-focused environment that values teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong diagnostic ability, and a commitment to ensuring all equipment is safe, functional, and production-ready.


Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tractors, loaders, harvesting machines, and fleet vehicles.
  • Repair and service equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Support the harvesting team by ensuring equipment readiness for field operations.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately and report major faults promptly.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all company safety procedures and workshop safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully inspected and certified safe before release for operation.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and actively identify and report hazards.
  • Adhere to environmental and operational compliance standards.

Workshop Standards and Housekeeping

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop environment.
  • Properly store tools, spare parts, and equipment after use.
  • Support continuous improvement of workshop processes and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Technical Qualification in Auto Mechanics, Heavy-Duty Mechanics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience in vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Experience working with harvesting machinery, tractors, loaders, and fleet vehicles is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance systems and practices.
  • Must possess a valid National Identification Card.
  • Must have valid National Health Insurance coverage.
