Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Data Science to lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions. The successful candidate will apply data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and machine learning methods to large, complex datasets—both structured and unstructured—to generate actionable insights.

You will model complex business problems, uncover trends and opportunities, and collaborate closely with business, data, and technology teams to transform data into strategic assets that inform critical decisions. The role also involves executing intelligent automation initiatives and developing predictive models that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced data mining and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets
• Develop and deploy predictive models (e.g., credit scoring, churn, propensity models)
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Design and implement machine learning algorithms and data-driven solutions
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges
• Drive intelligent automation initiatives across business processes
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Support the design and optimization of data architecture, ETL processes, and data flows
• Utilize data visualization tools to present insights effectively
• Manage projects and deliver results within defined timelines

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Studies, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience Required

Data & Analytics (5–7 years):

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data (e.g., data streams, images)
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Proficiency in data mining and pattern discovery in large datasets
• Hands-on experience with data science tools such as SAS, R, SPSS, or similar
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar

Technical & Industry Experience (5–7 years):

• Proven experience in software development and engineering
• Strong understanding of financial services data processes, systems, and products
• Experience in technical business intelligence and IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements
• Project management experience with the ability to deliver complex initiatives
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying analytical models
