Key Responsibilities
1. Transformation Strategy Execution
- Lead the design and execution of enterprise transformation initiatives aligned with MTN Ghana’s strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with divisional leaders to identify transformation opportunities across operations, technology, commercial, and customer experience functions.
- Develop and maintain a structured roadmap for business transformation initiatives.
2. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of operational excellence across the organization.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication, and process gaps across business operations.
- Design and implement process redesign initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPM, or Agile methodologies.
- Maintain a centralized repository of transformation initiatives from initiation to completion and handover.
3. Project Cost Optimization
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across transformation programs without compromising value delivery.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and delivery teams to track savings and cost optimization outcomes.
- Monitor and report project cost performance and improvement opportunities.
4. Change Management
- Develop and execute structured change management strategies across transformation initiatives.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption across impacted business units.
- Monitor change readiness and ensure successful adoption of transformation outcomes.
- Escalate risks and resistance issues where necessary.
5. Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Monitor transformation performance using dashboards, scorecards, and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with governance and analytics teams to develop executive-level transformation dashboards.
- Deliver monthly and ad-hoc reports on transformation progress to leadership.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and performance improvement.
Educational Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA, MSc, or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum) is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in business transformation, strategy execution, or enterprise project delivery.
- Strong experience in process improvement within large, complex organizations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Experience in telecommunications, digital, or highly regulated industries is preferred.
Technical & Functional Competencies
- Strong knowledge of transformation frameworks and project management methodologies
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, and continuous improvement tools
- Strong business process reengineering and optimization capabilities
- Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
