Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations Strategy & Communication
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between MTN Ghana and investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders.
- Communicate financial performance, business strategy, and market outlook effectively to the investment community.
- Prepare investor presentations, earnings releases, and financial communications materials.
Financial & Market Analysis
- Interpret and analyze financial statements to support investor messaging and disclosures.
- Monitor market trends, shareholder movements, and competitor performance.
- Provide insights to senior leadership on market perception and investor sentiment.
Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Ensure full compliance with Ghana Stock Exchange regulations and securities laws.
- Oversee timely and accurate disclosure of financial and corporate information.
- Maintain adherence to corporate governance standards and investor reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, regulators, and financial media.
- Organize investor meetings, roadshows, earnings calls, and shareholder events.
- Manage investor queries and ensure timely, professional responses.
Strategic Advisory
- Advise executive management on investor sentiment, capital market trends, and valuation drivers.
- Support corporate strategy by providing feedback from the investment community.
- Contribute to capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions as required.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Legal or financial law experience is an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in investor relations, preferably within a multinational organisation.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong track record of managing stakeholder relationships and professional networks.
- Good understanding of the telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Experience interpreting financial statements and corporate disclosures.
- Knowledge of Ghanaian securities laws and regulatory frameworks.
