Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to support the company’s growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and managing tender and procurement processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and practical experience in government tender bidding and procurement procedures. This role is well-suited for a motivated professional who can contribute to revenue growth and strategic business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support organizational growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit business proposals, quotations, and tender documents
  • Manage government tender bidding and procurement processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor tender opportunities and coordinate timely submissions
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic sales and business development plans
  • Support negotiations and contract discussions with clients and partners
  • Prepare regular business development and sales performance reports
  • Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and business engagements when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement, Sales, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Development Officer, Sales Officer, or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in government tender bidding and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
